I applied for this position back in October and just recently sent my stuff to Jan Barden. I wonder if API had anything to do with it?? Norfolk told me that they had interviewed people already though. Did you interview??

After applying a few months ago, Ms. Barden called me out of nowhere, wondering what I was up to. I sent her my original package maybe 2 years ago without a peep from them. I doubt it was coincidence, but it might be. I sent API an update but I haven't heard from NS since the last online experience/salary survey in November. Are you a Tidewater local? Just so you guys know. They are not going to even hire anyone now. They just got a new CEO and he has frozen the pilot hiring for now.

I highly doubt it, NS has a policy that limits the amount of time that a member can be on the board of directors. They're flight department stays pretty busy, so it's probably just a momentary thing to get situated. Very good company to work for though.

That's pretty much what they told me. He said they are going through changes with the new guy and they might call me when things settle down.
