Any advice other than what I can find in the AK Supplement?

Secondary stop would be either Unalakleet or Galena.

Thanks!

There is a good pizza joint at the airport in Nome, you can't say that in Unalakleet or Galena. The Nome FSS will probably call in an order for you or give you a frequency to try.

If you're overnighting or looking for a meal, Nome will have quite a few more offerings than UNK or GAL. I suspect the fuel price may be cheaper, too. I've been away for many years, so can't tell you who the fuel vendors are currently. Back then there was no true FBO or fuel retailer on the airport, but most of the air taxis would fill you up. Call ahead if you're going to need a significant amount. Whoever you get fuel from can help you find a tiedown and a taxi cab or ride to town. If you happen to go to Bering Air, tell them 'RM' says hello.
