Hi yall...

Is there any databse or site out there listing all noise-sensitive airports in the US? I mean, those banning under stage III...

I just saw an article about hushkits, mentioned something about 80% of airports banning below stage III, but it would be nice if there was somethin to back that up.

Thanks!

That 80% figure sounds like advertising hype. In Europe it is just about 100%. Here in the states, only a few airports come to mind. Teterboro, Naples, Santa Monica are the ones that come to mind right now. Australia and Hong Kong, I believe are 100% stage 3. Other than that I don't recall any other Stage 3 restrictions. And in Europe there has been a fight about hush kits. Most EU countries are of the opinion that the original certification is the stage they are at.
