Hey fellas...i'm a college student with about a year of school left...trying to find some people in NE Ohio that are willing to help out low time guys like me. if you have any suggestions of places or people that i can contact please help me out. And please no PFT, i'm young but not stupid!

Self-help

Try using contacts you have made in school. Maybe you can obtain an internship over the summer. That will be your opportunity to make more contacts. As the Mastercard commercial said, "The contact made through that internship: Priceless."

Aviation is a business that requires initiative for one to succeed. In other words, don't wait for others to provide contacts to you; you make your own contacts. Prepare and print some resumes, fill up the car with gas, and visit all aviation organizations in Northeast Ohio. Drop off resumes at each. Do it again after you've graduated and/or built hours. Use mail for the places you cannot get to in person.

No one is going to come knocking on your door; you have to go to the their doors and do your own knocking. You may have to come back and continue knocking. Good luck with your efforts.
