Good afternoon. Thank you so much for interviewing with American Airlines. We enjoyed meeting you and learning a little about you.

Recently, our off-the-street interview numbers were reduced significantly, so we could accommodate a large number of our flow-through pilots and some of our furloughed pilots electing to return to AA. Due to this, we unfortunately must suspend your candidacy where it stands today, and we are disappointed to report it may be a few months before we are prepared to advance you through to our next phase. We were not aware of either of these factors until after your interview date.

Hopefully, we?ll be back on track sometime late this summer. We will be in touch, via email, when we have more news.

Any reliable info on how many have bypassed recall or when the entire furlough list will be required to come back or cut bait ?
