Just wanted to pass on this tidbit for those who haven't applied yet....(from the Swa pilot home page)
"The next New Hire class is being moved up a week and will start April 7. Training takes 6-7 weeks so we should see them on line by the end of May or early June. Your response in picking up trips has helped immensely. As you can imagine, Scheduling is quite busy and any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Due to the number of anticipated New Hires projected for 2003 and the volume of qualified applicants currently in process, Southwest Airlines will discontinue accepting new applications effective April 1, 2003 through at least yearend. Updates will be posted on southwest.com."
If you haven't put your app in yet, you better hurry!
