Here Is Why

I emailed our j/s coordinator and he said everything has been in place for a while (ie. you DO have a jumpseat agreement) but Mesa's IT people are not being cooperative. Apparently they have to send UPS certain stuff to be able to approve Mesa pilots on our jumpseats and they have not done so. Apparently, the j/s coordinator at Mesa has done everything possible to get this going but the IT people are not sending the required info. He also said the only reason we are able to j/s on Mesa is because it's not our company screwing it up, it's Mesa. I hope that answers your question.

According to our j/s coordinator, he said that the Mesa j/s coordinator has done everything he can to bribe the IT people to no avail. Good luck.....I hope they get it straightened out because the Mesa crews have always been awesome when I have jumpsat on them. I hope we can reciprocate soon!

I am also a MAG pilot. As a beech driver on the Air Midwest certificate I have been able to jumpseat on UPS. I use them every week and they have been great. Go figure. You would think all MAG pilots would have the same jumpseat agreements in place. I believe our old asst chief pilot L.Y. was the one who pushed the paperwork to get the MAG guys on the Air Midwest an agreement with UPS.
However, we don't have and agreement with FEDEX which I believe the Mesa guys have. So who knows. Thanks to those UPS guys and gals who have been giving me rides. I greatly appreciate it.

Luke

Sorry for the typos and spelling, I am on my phone.
