What is the best way to NJI? NJA to NJI how long does this take? Do you still need the 5000 ttl coming from NJA? It sounds like it is extremely hard getting in off the streets even with G time and mins.

Obviously the fastest way to NJI would be direct to NJI.

To NJI PIC through NJA ... 15 to 20 yrs. To NJI SIC through NJA ... 3- 5 yrs. By then you would be taking a significant payCut as NJA PIC pay is much more than Gulfstream SIC pay.

And according to the NJA-to-NJI transfer agreement, one would still have to have 5000 hours of total flight time. No waiver, if you will, for coming over from NJA.

There is now. But 3-5 yrs from now we will be under another CBA. Its unlikely that improved basing for everyone would not be in any new agreement that could pass a vote, IMO.

So Captain @ NJA or SIC for at lease a decade @ NJI....

You'll be losing a lot of money. Only Rich guys like Diesel can afford to do that.
