NJA email resume question

Hi,

I recently emailed NetJets my resume.

A few hours later, got back the automatic reply from NetJets that says they're considering my resume.

What sort of screening is done once they receive resumes via email?
Does this mean I'll be mailed an application?
How long does it typically take for application to be mailed back, once they've received your resume.

I should be competitive, with nearly 6000 tt, close to 1100 turbine PIC, two types, but who knows in this crazy industry.

From what I have seen, they are just looking to see that you meet their minimum requirements. I don't know of anybody yet who has the mins and has not received the application. It took me a week to receive mine, and similar times for all of the people that I know who have sent in their resumes as well. I'm positive that with your experience that you will receive an app as well granted you have a good looking resume free of mistakes and a good cover letter.

I know a guy who is trying to get an interview at NetJets and he told me his inside source to get the hookup is the night security guy! I just think that's funny!:nuts:
