Another thing to consider is the Credit Check. Bad Credit can prevent you from getting a job.
Credit check? they can't check your credit without approval. He only submitted his resume.

I was also given a email saying they weren't handing out applications, that they have too many on file. I then decided to snail mail the resume in, this time I received a application within 2-3 weeks. It makes a difference when someone has to actually handle your resume compared to a computer just tossing it out.

He works for avantair as sic but he has 500 hours pic jet as captain in a be 400 and if you cant fly a jet with 800hours turbine experience you have issues. The reason he has so much pic is because he flew freight for 2 years. He has just always wanted to go to Netjets.

I know you Piaggio guys are going to flip out about this, but the thing doesn't need a SIC. You can quote your ops specs to me all day long. On the type certificate it doesn't require a SIC so logging SIC in it could raise a red flag.

So maybe NJA is maybe only looking at his 500 pic turbine and that may not be enough in this enviroment. Just a thought.

I have ran into a few nj pilots who were hired with zero turbine. They flew barons as a freight dogs.I still don't see a reason why he's not on his way to Columbus .

How did you get upgraded in the beechjet with less than 300 hours total turbine time?

That could be the problem, they might not believe you're that good.

I'm not the one with the beech time. You can go to any crappy 91 management company and go to captain in a jet in less than 4 months.

Thats the problem.

They think he is going to get the type and run....just like in the example above.

So, you have some PIC jet time and you never really occupied the PIC position. You never acted as A/C commander. You still only have 800 hours of crew time. Half of it is in a two pilot a/c and the other half is not.

I know we are talking about your buddy. So don't take the 'you' reference to mean you personally. Just conveying a thought.

The are getting lots of Crew Experienced Pilots to apply right now. Try again down the road.

Peace.
