What is the "typical" tour start and end times for crews based out of cmh? Ive heard of early shows and late finishes, is that the norm, or the exception? I'm going to have to drive to cmh, and am trying to weigh pros and cons.

There was a good post about this on one of the other current threads but the short version is you can expect early to very early shows and returns seem to be all over the place. For me personally I have always made it back by 7pm but some of my friends seem to always be 10 or 11 at night. The earliest I have made it back so far is about 3pm on my last day. Lately it seems like I have been picking up an airplane on day one and then airline back when my tour is over but your results may vary.

The morning shows are rough if you have to drive in like I do, the worst I have personally seen was an 0300 show. By 0800 I had already flown two legs and was in another time zone. This tour I had a 0430 show but they ended up showing me at home so that wasnt too bad. When they finally got me out the next day I had a 0759 show. If your drive is more than an hour or so you might want to consider getting a hotel so you can get some sleep. You will accumulate enough hotel points that after a few months on line you shouldnt have to pay for them at least. PM me if you have any questions.

Guitar Guy is also based at CMH and drives in. If you're looking for a consensus I can tell you that he has a track record of accepting PMs, too. I hope things work out for you, Buck. :)
