For anyone in training or that may have just interviewed (or anyone who might know),

I had my application accepted mid-march. I can only take CMH as a domicile and am trying to get an idea of where they are hiring into right now. Also has anyone around that time been invited to the interview? Or have a general idea about how long it may take?

I heard a rumor that because of a change in HR/Management personnel they may have drastically slowed down interviews for the time being? Anyone else hear about this?

Thanx

I sent my resume in via a friend on the inside back in December and had the application within a week. I sent that back in just after Xmas, and it wasn't until early March that I got the "application accepted" email. I was offered an interview date in the second week of April, though only with about a week's notice. It all worked out and I start indoc in June. I don't know if there's been any turnover in the HR department, though I do know they interviewed fewer people than normal in early April, due to some vacations and spring break being a busy time for them. We only had 6 in my group, 5 of which got hired. I was the only CMH domicile hire of the group, though from what I gathered, it sounds like there's steady hiring into Columbus.

That's about all I know, hope it helps. Cheers!

Haven't heard anything about hiring times or domiciles lately. I have a friend in the hiring circle who says relax. Delivery delays are in full effect. Things are going to slow down for a few months. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Cessna is sold out on deliveries out to Dec. of 2008 on most models. NJA is getting rid of many Ultras. Not a negative. These babies are like brand new. Not sure if they are going to Cessna or on the open market. Just saw a couple on the ramp at CMH. NEW ENGINES, NEW INTERIOR, AND NEW PAINT. I would be more than proud to have any of them.

The hire numbers are going to continue. It may slow for a while but will pick up again soon. The ultimate plan is 5000 plus pilots at NJA alone. When the cattle carriers implode the line will be long and form at the rear. Take a number ASAP.

I have only been here less than a year, but have 0% regrets. Come and live the good live.

Sorry, have to go. I have a perfectly cooked pork tender loin and a $200 (non standard) bottle of wine that I am forced to drink. On a 18 hour over night in a 5 star Hilton. The dancing girls will be here soon.:pimp:

Have I mentioned, I love this job?
