I will be finishing my B.A. shortly from a local university in Indiana. I have 900 hours total time and have over 500 hours of instruction that I have given part time for the past 2 years. Business has been somewhat slow recently. Right now I have 0 multi time. My ultimate goal is the airlines. I was just wondering what the next best step after getting my multi would be. Should I build more time to fly 135? Apply to a regional? Instruct somewhere else? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you want to end up at the airlines, I would say drop a couple grand and get your multi. Then, apply to all regionals, go to the first one that hires you.
