I got crap from some lady about "a new rule" when I was going through security in DFW...saying I had to have something from a ticket agent in addition to company ID if I was in plain clothes. Is this something new? I shrugged and told her I hadn't heard of it, and she just let me through. Ironically, it was an AA employee checking boarding passes (in Terminal A) and giving me the grief, but the TSA folks didn't give it a second thought and let me through just fine. Just curious...

I was there on a 4 hour sit a few weeks ago. My cousin was coming in from Iraq and I hadn't seen him in for ever. I left my terminal and went to meet him and even in Uniform they wouldn't let me through. I tried to get a gate pass from the ticket counter, but they wouldn't help me either.

I went through the E terminal security with just my ID and in plain clothes about a week ago at DFW. No problems there. However, some airports, such as CVG and TPA require boarding passes or jumpseat forms.

Yeah I had the same problem at MEM in plain clothes trying to go pick up my check at OPS. So I asked respectfully if she would have said anything if I had my uniform on and the answer was no??? So I just used my SIDA to bypass security but just another irritating TSA thing
