Had the phone interview on Wednesday. It was HR interview. Expect some questions about your experience, but most questions revolve around your wanting to work for SWA. Best of luck to you!

While we are talking about SWA....can anyone provide details on the pay cycle (biweekly/semi-monthly) and whether or not positions are OT eligible? Thanks in advance.

Pay days are the 5th and 20th of the month.

Asst. positions, while technically are eligible for overtime won't get any (most of the time) simply because of the number of assts. vs. the available shifts. Most of your "asst" time will be spent on a dispatch desk with a trainer.

Once you upgrade, there's quite a bit overtime available.

In my fone interview, I was told:

$2780 per month
$214 per diem
$35 license premium if certificated as a dispatcher

There is a new Assistant DX posting for SWA

Guess that means that some didnt make it thru the first screen; but with all the carriers down the tubes right now, the market is tough...
