The website is junk. Airplane is only a foot narrower then the 300, with about the same range. I wonder if the drop isle is gone, along with the clamshell door.

I also wonder what the future is for the 605 now. With this near Lear being a close competitor to the 300 a 300XP model is probably in the works also as that airplane could easily be given more range. However, not much more can be done with the 605, and a 300XP model would make the 605 irrelevant. Maybe it's time for a Global 4000.

They are talking about a fully composite airplane, including wings. NO WAY for me!

Bombardier please learn to support your present airplanes before building new ones.

Thanks

haha. What I can't figure out is why make an airplane that is almost a 300?? What is the point? and YES, make your current Learjets up to date first, then build new. Bombardier is really good at re-inventing the wheel, or at least they think they are.

Will they finally make the cockpit bigger??

Learjet-now in the finest tradition of Raytheon building airplanes to compete with themselves.

Bigger cockpits? Hah, and ruin a traditon?....no way. If you want a bigger cockpit, go fly a C-5....
