Just thought yenz would like to know that a week ago, USAir mainline and all the Express carriers started a new jumpseat policy modeled after Southwest's. USAir is now a multiple jumpseat carrier. Hope this helps some of you other commuters.

Thank You

Thank you,Thank You, Thank You. Airways gets me back/forth to work every week(GSP-CLT-BWI).This helps!!

Kewl ! I jumpseat out of GSP,too-alas,it looks like 5275 & 6 (GSP-PIT) got dropped for January.I hope we at CHQ can get the same approved here.

Be presistent though - it will take a decade for our agents to catch on, the same for some of our captains too!

Btw, you don't need a coat & tie either!

hey 328 dude. Whats to this rumor thay Lorenzostein is taking over PDT ops in PIT and IND?
Is that bastard buying a wholly-owned?

Well, I did'nt know so many folks jumped out of GSP. I do too and CoEx has always had a multiple jump seat policy, nice to see others catching on.

Jet Driven:

As far as what ive heard from our MEC side, this is strickly a rumor and the VP of development from mainline held a special meeting last week with all three WO'd. He said that they have no intention of selling any wholly owned and that they still INTEND (big word here) to place RJ's at ALL wo'd. As far as Mesa taking over IND and PIT. Strickly a rumor and nobody will verify it. If I here otherwise, I'll post it.

One thing that was stated by the VP was that he said that all turboprops will be phased out by 2008. Seems like along time for me.
