Hey all. As some of you know I've recently been hired at AE.....yea yea I know. My life is over, I'll never upgrade, regionals suck, mesa sucks yadda yadda yadda.

Anyway, I'd love to do some studying prior to class. I don't want to learn anything in depth that I MAY need to unlearn when I get to class. However, I would like suggestions on good reading material that may get my brain tuned into jet systems, high altitude aerodynamics etc.

I'm 100% but I'm guessing I'll my on the ERJ, so anything that may be helpful on getting a leg up on it would be great as well. I understand that things can vary from airline to airline so I'd just want to study the basics.

Weren't you the guy that was fired from PSA or ALG in the first 2 weeks of ground school?

? Can't say that I was.
Ok, sorry but the screenname looked like a guy who was "asked to leave" right in the begining of ground school.

Naw it wasn't him, that was someone else. Geeze, poor guys. We can't all be as lucky as you Big Rick! Lamb roastin girls on those overnights, and drinking fine wines!

Study what they give you to study. That is all you need to do.

I agree, you'll get everything in class. If you happen to get something from a buddy then go right ahead and study a bit. But just remember this, study hard but also "PARTY HARD" one day out of the week man. It really helps. Take one day out of the weekend to not study, relax, hang out, have a few drinks, and just blow off some steam. Enjoy it, instructors do a good job. Good luck.
