As the title says, I'm new here. I'm not a pilot yet, I'm still trying to design my desired career path and learn all I can.

I had to answer questions about what I fly and how much time I've logged in order to register, so I wrote "none" because that's honest. My question is, since I'm not a pilot am I still welcome on the boards?

Are questions welcome here? (so long as I don't make a nuisance of myself and post in the appropriate places)

NO! J/K!! :D You are welcome here, feel free to come in and look around. Just remember, if you break it, you buy it.

Since you are still working on figuring out your career path, this is a great place to look (if that path involves aviation). There is a lot of knowledge here and most people are eager to share it.

We encourage questions...as a matter of fact, the board is full of them. It's how information is passed along.
As far as making a nuisance of yourself...don't worry, we have many members that are far worse than you'll ever be (I hope!) and don't worry about posting in the appropriate place, we have many users that can't do that either.

In all seriousness, enjoy the boards. There is a lot that one can learn from the numerous users on this site.

Welcome to FlightInfo! :)

Welcome, you're always more then welcome here. Just make sure you got thick skin, cause theres some real a$$holes around this place. ;)

It's refreshing to get student pilots on here that have never flown, or just learning. Boards like these can be a great learning tool for you.

I also recommend you check out www.clear-and-a-million.com . It's a very similar board, with really nice people over there as well. You can learn a lot from both places.

Glad to have you on board...

Gee, everyone's so darn nice I think I'm going to cry..........

One thing this board proves is that pilots and computer geeks go hand in hand.
Seriously, I would not be where I am today (which isn't saying too much!) if it weren't for this board. It all started with me coming here to ask a few questions about Gulfstream Academy and have since learned pretty much everything I needed to and then some. I probably would not be a CFI right now if it weren't for flightinfo and would probably still want to be an airline pilot. My god! Just imagine if I still wanted to be an AIRLINE PILOT!

Welcome to FI...There are some "real winners" around here so I think you will find it rather amusing.

dude, are you like, asking permission to post here and ask questions?!!

sounds like you need some affirmation or something.

Welcome to FI. As already stated, be sure you don't take much here to heart, there are some ignorant people here (I'm probably one of them).

"sounds like you need some affirmation or something"
(it's already started)
