(CBS 5 NEWS) - Each day, 1.5 million Americans fly somewhere, but the jet set can be a lonely set at times.
"It's probably why I'm single," says Linda Dickerhoof, PR executive, frequent flier, single, and user of a website called airtroductions.com, a website user networking for the skies.
Dickerhoof's profile is one of thousands on the website.
Here's how it works: you enter your flight information to see if there's anyone on the plane who could be a new friend. Then somewhere at the airport, you meet before your flight. If there's a connection and you want to fly together, you ask the passengers around you if they'd be willing to trade seats with you.


There are other dating services of course, but airtroductions only deals with match making in the skies. The service is free until you want to meet someone and then it's $5 per meet or $19.95 a month. A small if love takes off. www.airtroductions.com
