I always thought the congestion at FRG, was and still is always a plus as far as training goes, as opposed to open land and no one around for miles. Communications, traffic watch, procedures, SIDs, DPs, Actual holds, etc.. The weather conditions sure as hell are not the prettiest days in the world. Just yesterday my flaps froze down on a 172 RG. Good experiences like this lead to better piloting. I hope. The N***AV planes at Flightways had eventually sold off. A majority to a company called CTL. A company notorious for emergency landings of its planes on the beach. At least it used to be. Hope to see you all in the field one day and fill you in on the old neighborhoods.
