Anyone have any idea about new bizjets in development?

I know Gulfstream has a supermid Galaxy in development, but i have heard of two other programs in the works.

Any ideas?

Gulfstream is also working on a super sonic bizjet.

Cessna is kicking around the idea of developing a large cabin a/c to compete with Gulfstream. I know they had a cabin mockup at last year's NBAA, but I have heard it still isn't a sure thing.

Embraer has a VLJ and a light jet in development. Phenom 100 and 300 respectively.

Dassault has the Falcon SMS (super midsize) debuting soon. New airframe, new wing, big motor's (2), and high cruise--I've heard think Citation X! And the EASy cockpit.

New bizjets

My best guess

Embraer has the '400' and '500 midsize aircraft on the drawing board....
Look for a 6ft plus cabin height (and stretchability to eventually replace Legacy in Supermidsize.....) Expect 2,800nm plus capability

Dassault will have a midsize or supermidsize (F20-F50-F2000) aircraft announced at EBACE or latest Le Bourget in June......with some sort of mockup by NBAA this year. Probably, a CL300 cabin width, but longer legs....2,800-3,300nm selllin below the F2000EX I would presume.

Citation with a wider cabin for the X.....the Super X maybe....this project has been floating around for a while, but by NBAA this year it will be put up or shut up time.

Raytheon (as Hawker/Beech thing) will have the Horizon.....at last.......(can we call it new?????/) They really need to think about a Hawker 800 replacement and not just a new name....850XP is as far as it can go.........Maybe with new capital they may announce some sort of project....but don't hold your breathe.

Bombardier...........they have enough problems with the regional business, soew corporate isn't really on the cards or required. The CL300 and Lear range is fine. Eventually a CL605 replacement....but why change a winning formulathe time being...let the others play catch up first.

Gulfstream...the Galaxy designed properly one hopes.

Piaggio.........the Avanti JET..........faster than a turboprop.....OOps cant say that as the Avanti II is the turboprop that's as fast as a jet >>>>>>Anyway once they get the slogan right and find an Asian nation willing to build it using child labor then it's a goer.

Eclipse...........the Eclipse II.....big enough to SEE......and get inside.

Swearingen..........the SJ30-2......gestation longer than a herd of elephants but here at last....Maybe.........EBACE....... The SJ30-3 with 6,800nm, M1.99 and 12 pax for $8.5mil........ rumours, rumours....but what other magic could there be?

Spectrum...........and a host of others...........Hmmm..... don't part with any $ yet.

And when exactly is the NEXT downturn.........???????

Look for the Gulfstream 650. G-550 wing and avionics with a much wider tube to compete with the Global cabin size. Possible NBAA announcement.

Don't tell that to any of the 50+ people who have money down on a Hawker 900!

Of course but a Hawker 1000 has already been done.....sadly dropped as it was a great aircraft.....

I await with baited breath the 900XP, 950, 950XP and then what?

They just need a new airframe..............with baggage space.
