Assuming NJ is interested, anyone know roughly how long it takes to get an app. after e-mailing your resume?

Thanks All

Took about a week for me and one other guy I know. We both had internal recommendations. Not sure if that speeds it up or not. Good luck.

i sent in a resume in february and never got a response. last week i had a friend of mine walk it in and then today i got the application package. seems like it's best to have it walked in!

I had to follow up with recruiting to get my application. Took me about 2 months to receive it.

Now, how long does it take to hear/get an interview after they receive your application?

I haven't gotten the application accepted email yet, but I just overnighted it last week and the tracker shows they received it.

I'm shooting for LAX domicile.

Thanks for the replies.

I sent my resume in mid march
Got the application mid april, sent it back to them end of April
Got the application received email mid May
Got the invitation to interview mid July for August interviews
My interview is in August. I'm trying to prepare. I feel a little nervous and a little lost, but I guess most people do before interviewing for a job they really want. I'm shooting for LAX too! Good luck!

Just FYI my friend who works 121 with me and has the EXACT same experience level (we flight instructed together, and got hired 121 the same time), sent in his information almost identicle time line as what I listed above, but still hasn't been contacted for an interview??? Both him and I have no idea why I got invited to interview and he didn't. He's a little worried. It really seems to make no sense, so good luck!

Are you a black female with a spanish surname? If so, that might be a reason.....

Having trouble finding a job and looking for someone to blame? Your poor attitude might be one place to look.

Don't worry cosmotheassman is just a little bitter because he can't find a seat or plug at an FBO.

Geez why so bitter yourself, wanttofly? Bad tour or something? :p

Just kidding, bro - you'll have to let me know if you still plan on the move eastward.

This isn't UAL. There is no Nancy Stutke or Kruge Krueger here.

In my opinion, NJA runs one of the fairest ships in the biz when it comes to hiring.

Of all of the things I critisize about NJA on these boards, hiring has never been one of them.

Hiring here is as it should be, they look at the most qualified (regardless of age/race/sex) and hire them. There is no point system, OBAP gouge crap, etc. Period.
