Just looking for the latest info on the application proccess. Obviously much has been posted on the subject but I was wondering what the current timeframe is to hear back after the application is sent in. Sent my application back two weeks ago, have not heard one way or the other if it was accepted.

I know these times have a tendency to change based on their work load and how far behind they are but I was just wondering if anybody had sent their app. in the last few weeks and how long it took to hear back?

Thanks

I believe it takes about a month or so before you hear anything back. After you get the app package depending on domicile, plan on an interview after the new year. From what I've heard the domicile list (most wanted to least wanted ) is TEB PBI DAL CMH LAX. This was told to my buddy from darinda about 3 weeks ago.. good luck

If I got the app processed and accepted email back in early october would it stand to reason I will not hear anything for an interview until next year then?

Um, you mean the domiciles people want most to least, or the domiciles for which they are recruiting from most to least?

sorry, should have clarified. Those listed are the ones people want the most. If someone actually wanted the lax base, they would get the quickest interview.

The whole time from application to interview was just shy of three months.
As far as bases and A/C assignments...It is a very fluid situation and literally changes on a daily basis. The day prior to the interview we were told to expect CMH and the Excel or maybe one slot for the ten. When I was offered a position all the bases were open and was offered a choice of the Hawker or the encore.

does netjets hire many Air force reserve pilots? If so, how does the military schedule play into netjets schedule, if at all? LAX dom. would work out perfect for me. Any other info would be great..

thanks

Lots of reserve and national guard guys. I'm not one of them, but I have flown with many. The 7 and 7 seems to work best for reserve/ guards when you are able to arrange much of your military flying in advance and the guys I've talked to have had no problem getting leaves from NJA to do their military service those times that were not going to fit in their 7 and 7 schedule. Good luck joining the team. I like the avitar.

Have you priced out housing in LA?

Unless I already had ties to California, I wouldn't dream of bidding LA. The pay doesn't changed based on domicile, but your buying power sure does.
