Is it better to fly it from the left or Right with the PFD? I have been on glass for the last 3 years. Are there any cons to flying from the right side?

You may or may not be comfortable with the PFD presentation. I flew glass for a couple of years prior to my NJA interview also, and I didn't like the way it was set up. I chose to fly the steam gauges in the left seat.....very easy.

Sim Prep

Is their any type of prep I can do for the Netjets interview. I fly the BE1900D everyday, however, I would like to do some type of prep before hand. Also , does anyone have the profile and airport that they fly the profile on. I appreciate any feedback. Thank you fellow pilots. Have a super day.

If you want to drop the coin, you can buy flightsim 2004, a yoke and eaglesoft citation 2 add on. It all cost about $150. It worked for me.

I notice most people recommend the Citation 2 add on. Any particular reason? Seems like the baron lear or 737 would bring your scan back. Just curious.

You don't need to spend money on eaglesoft citation unless you want something that looks simular to a citation II panel. The sim flys exactly like a frasca 142, no motion and very stable, just scan like you normally do, if you fly the b1900 without the autopilot for a few days you should do fine. I thought it was very easy to fly, trimmed it up and she flew nice. The only problem I had was kept trying to bank on me, I may have not had the roll trimmed correctly, other than having to constantly hold a little left or right pressure (can't remember which) on the yoke it was a easy.

Get an hour or two in a frasca and you should be fine.

Sim flies fine. Little left turning tendency. Other than that, real solid when it is trimmed out. Just hand fly what ever you are flying now raw data and you should be fine.

I was on the CRJ with the Collins glass as a captain so I fly from the left seat. More comfortable there and didn't have to worry about the differences between Collins and Honeywell. I hadn't flown steam gauges in a while but the attitude gyro on the left is as big as a grapefruit and very easy to fly.
