My boss (we're part 91) has decided that we should be paid according to the NJA contract, based solely on years of service. What he doesn't understand (or doesn't want to understand), is that 1st year captains aren't flying class 3 airplanes. Can someone give me an idea of your most junior G200 captain? I'd like to bring this to his attention. Thanks for the help.

6th year closing in on 7th yr.

He gets 3 21 day vacations per yr... on the 7/7 and can't be called on day off or while in 91k/135 required rest.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm working on my counterpoints right now.

Thanks again.

S/He also doesn't pay for health insurance, just received $40 k in retro, gets $400 worth of uniform allowance, free blackberry, airline miles, hotel points, is not bound by a training contract and gets 50% match on 401k. First year captain equates to $100k in total compensation, not including perdiem of about $40 per day and crew meals.
