The number of airplanes that they plan to reduce is impossible to determine. Management has put out at least 10 different numbers that are wildly different. As far as airplanes on order, the Phenom 300 is a 50 airplane firm order with options for another 75. How many are taken and how many go to NJE is anyones guess. Overall the company will probably be smaller for the next many years and may never overall grow again. It is impossible to tell what will really happen with the overall size since if the economy ever really gets humming again, it will be hard to say no to customers who want to spend to get into the program. My guess is that the only real growth in the next 5 years will be in China/ Asia now that the company is applying for all the licensing to get started in China. Who flies the airplanes there, what they fly, and when they really get started is all up in the air.
