Reportedly, NJLA received a CFR Part 121 Supplemental certificate this week. Only about 5 years too late.....

max 6 days in a row for 121. I think.

Not exactly.

121.503(c): Each certificate holder conducting supplemental operations shall relieve each pilot from all duty for at least 24 consecutive hours at least once during any seven consecutive days.

You could very easily provide that 24 hours of rest anywhere in the week, and still be able to use the pilot for 7 workdays. (e.g., finish up at 1pm on one day, report at 1pm the next for an evening shift.)

Where do I sign up, sounds like a dream tour.

Go to the careers section on www.netjets.com. Send in resume. Apply. Go through interview process. Get hired. Spend 20+ years on various other aircraft at NJA, then you might have enough seniority to hold the BBJ. Of course, by then the BBJ will probably be gone.

Kman,

Assuming that the BBJ uses augmented crews more often then not during international operations, the CBA already calls for a minimum rest of 24 consecutive hours under certain conditions.
