Are you paid a monthly parking allowance at your chosen base for positioning? Can you show your ID to TSA and go through the crew line? Lastly, when you position to your assignment, how do you get from the main terminal to the FBO where your aircraft is parked?

Thanks

Many FBOs will let you park for free and then you just give a nice tip to the line guy who drives to to and from the terminal. This won't work everywhere, but the ability to live 100 places and not commute along with the raise we got makes it all well worth whatever parking fees you may or may not have to pay.

As far as TSA goes, some places are better than others. Many will treat you like an airline pilot and let you bring liquids through, but some- like CMH and HPN will not give you any special breaks and will take your water and make you wait in line and you will get the SSSSS on your tickets quite a bit. NJA does schedule at least 1.5 hours for you to get from the front door of the airport to the gate so if you can't make it in that amount of time, I guess you're out of luck.
