I have been reading numerous post on netjets and see that everybody loves it. A few years ago I used to sit in FBOs and here netjet pilots complain all the time about their job. Has it got that much better. What are the various schedules. I know the 7 and 7. How do you guys like being in a hotel room half the year. I guess I am spoiled when it comes to quality of life at my current job. I am home every night, hardly any weekends, and fly roughly 3 days a week. Don't get me wrong, I am not flying a fancy jet and I am not getting rich. I am however making a descent living and have been contemplating if extra money will counterbalance a lower quality of life. I know that I don't have a real good shot at a netjet job, but I want to make sure I am 100% interested before I apply someday. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Chances are this decent job you have now will go away one day. My first real corporate job the company's first airplane was a B25. Seems like all corporate jobs end after awhile. You work harder here than you probably ever have, but when you go home it ends. It pays good, you fly new airplanes with the best training.

Good Luck

You have a 7 and 7, a 15 day flex, and a 18 day fixed schedule to pick from. The more you work the more you get paid. if you don't want the 18 or 15 day schedule you don't have to take it. The pay, benefits, strength of the company, growth potential, QOL and people that I work with are all the best in all of aviation that I have seen and that includes the majors.

"Working hard", is a relative phrase. I came from the regionals and compared to that, this job is a lot less work and a lot more fun.

I suggest you give it a shot. If you get the interview come and take a look for yourself. It wasn't until I saw for myself that I was sold.

Yes, I am happier here than at any of my previous 5 flying jobs and no I am not leaving here for anything. It wasn't always this good, but who cares? It is now.

You must be in the Beechjet!

This is the best flying job I've ever had and I plan to retire here. Good luck and get that resume in quickly.

I couldn't have said it better.

NJA is a COMPLETELY dfferent place to work than it was in 2004-05.

I turn 32 next month, and have taken my last interview.

Me too,except the 32 part.
