Do you have any advise for us "off the street captains" starting class?????
Congrats for getting the job!
I am not an Ultra IOE Captain, nor do I fly the Ultra,
but I can offer you some advice.
Relax, If you are apprehensive about flying as a new Captain,
Netjets will not release you as a PIC for at least 250 hours with the Company. You will fly as a FO even after completing IOE.
Most of all, if you tell them you are not ready as a PIC you will still fly as a SIC even if you have passed a PIC checkride.
Know the company SOP's, callouts, memory items and limitations before going to class. Know them cold. If you have any spare time go over some systems.
The program is not designed to "weed out " people. They are working to produce safe, efficient, Netjets Captains
