I want to start working up a packet and have a bunch of questions for anyone in the know. FWIW I'm already in the PA guard, but want to jump over from infantry.

Thanks in advance.

I should probably add...

I'm primarily interested in units in the eastern half of PA (FTIG and east) and whether there are slots available. I just turned 31, and I know a lot of other states are granting waivers. Is PA the same, or is there a glut of underage pilot candidates? I've been getting bugged to go to OCS, but would prefer to jump ship and do WOCS and fly.

I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

In my opinion, I would go straight to the SAAO (State Army Aviation Officer), and not fool around with any recruiters.

Put a resume package together, complete with military photo, put on your class A's or at least B's, go to his office and asked to be seen (telephone appointment helps). Unless he is an absolute A-hole, he will see you or steer you to someone to help you. Don't be shy, don't be overbearing, but be tenacious.

Also, find the command unit's S-1 shop and do the above.

PM me if you need more help or advise. Include your email, as my replies to PM's have failed in the past.

Does anyone know who this is and how to contact them? It used to be Maj Lunardini a few years back. Not sure if this is still the case.
