I am heading for South Africa for my CAA validation and I have been informed that I need at least 1 hour of dual in the Twin Otter. Either seat, just as long as it's put in the logbook as dual. It would be really beneficial to get an hour in a Caravan as well. I will pay for the hour in each. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Maybe try the local dropzone? If the pilot is a CFI they may be willing to sell you an hour of dual. They may even have a Caravan. Where are you located? I may be able to help.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in the Pacific Northwest. I am heading for South Africa initially to receive the South African validation. If you don't have any previous time in the aircraft you will be flying then the validation won't allow you to fly said aircraft with a ZS registration.
