Can any of you good people out there tell me where to buy a shirt that is designed for holding pens, mini-flashlight, charts, pencil,...etc.? As many of you know there is not much space in a 172, and I need some organizational help. Last nights cross country could have used some organization.

I know Van Heusen makes pilot shirts(11 bucks online), but they are for airline pilots.(I don't need epaulets) But, if I can't find any shirts with pockets and pencil/pen holders WITHOUT epaulet holders....then I'll be the dork in the 172 wearing a shirt with epaulet holders.

Hey....at least I don't wear my Star Trek flight suit anymore.

Thanks,
Tailwind

sounds like you need to look into a utility vest. I think that some pilot stores/catalogues have them but you could probably find one at any outdoor-type store. I saw the link to cabelas above, it's probably a good place to start. Another idea, a local hunting/fishing store would probably have something along the lines of what you're looking for.

ps, if you do get stuck with the epaulet style shirt, you could always use the epaulette holders to hold your rolled up sectionals :)
