Hey All,

Im looking for some info on Jet Choice.

Equipment
Pay
QOL
Retirement
Health

Any info would help.

I could use the info as well if anyone has it ;)

I graciously turned them down a couple of years ago. I know this is old and things may have changed, but then they were flying falcon 20s a couple 50s and one 900. Starting pay was $40,000 with no gaurantee on upgrade. Upgrade was on merit only no seniority list, no contract, no gauranteed raises. Total reserve schedule with a guaranteed 8 days of a month. Free health insurance and little if any movement. They got shut down by the FAA about two years ago for running 134.5 operations (that's 135 charter without a 135 ticket). They have gone through several title changes and owners over the last twenty years. The guy that owns them now, owns a couple of golf courses in MSP area and is on the board of the Lupus foundation. No dispatch, no dedicated scheduling. It is a small operation with only ten aircraft. I didn't get a good solid feel from them and having kids I needed to be pretty picky. If you are single and need a gig. I would say sure, why not? But if you are looking for a career and long term deal, I would pass.

Good Luck hope that helps. Things may have changed so don't take my word for it.:D

Thanks Captain Dad,

Do you have any info on captain pay on the F50 or 900...
As far as the free health...would that be free full family health coverage...

I know its been a while but a swag would be helpfull..
Cheers

I will help with some facts and I will leave out speculation, unlike the previous post. Two year old info doesn't help anybody, especially in this business.

4-Falcon 50's, 3-20's, 2-G200's, and 1 Falcon 10.Nice equip. Great MX.

Starting Pay-FO $50k-DA20/10 $60k-DA50/G200
Capt-$70-DA20/10 $80-DA50/G200
W/yr raises

QOL is great, in my opinion. 8on/6off schedule. Very rarely(or never) work all 8 days. Easy flying. There IS a seniority list. It is expanding, and it does have all the growing pains that go along with that. Overall, it's a good place to work, especially if you're from the MSP area.

Retirement-401k, no match at the moment.

Company paid health for everybody.

Good Luck.

There you go. Things have changed. Thanks for the new information RS. Did you guys ever get your 135 ticket? Best of luck. :)

It appears things have progressed nicely! I do have to say pay is on the low side, however, flying well maintained equipment and having full family medical is attractive.

Thanks RS,

check your PM.
