Well I'm kind put between a rock and and a hard place now with my flying. Currently working corporate flying and have 2400+ hours with 500+ nite PIC , 300+ instruments, 200+ turbine not bad numbers except very low multi, less than 40. Been offered position flying piston twins with couple of frieght ops, pay sucks though. My current company just offered to put me in our PC12. The PC12 is nice but in the end it still is a single engine turbine and I'm looking at longterm outlook. The reasons I am looking at other ops are that no duty time, no required rest periods and being tied to a pager 24/7 when that wasnt even part of the aggreement whne I came on and the pay is not reflective of that impact on life. The 135 ops off set schedule, hard days off , time to actually see my family and the multi time needed to make my resume look alot better. Any suggestions or input on whats the market for PC12 drivers right now, I just don't want to lose an op for multi ot stay a little while longer and find out nothing is chaning with my current company.

Bite the bullet and get the twin time. You obviously know what you need to make yourself competitive.

There are a lot of furloughed guys out there with thousands of multi-turbine/jet time. GET COMPETITIVE!!!

Check out the safety record of the company. No need to become a statistic just to build multi time.

Best of Luck

Ditto go for the MEL, QOL might be a side benefit, but you are not far enought along in your career to make decisions based upon QOL or location.

Night freight in a piston twin, or cruising along in a reliable turbine that has a glass cockpit. Chatting up fbo girls or sleeping on hanger floors and living off of old catering.
Been there done both, I would recommend, taking your time and making some contacts at the fbo’s for a better job.

fxbat: He has a family, chatting up FBO girls, will get him into a divorce before he has his first furlough. It is suppose to be the other way around. So the Corp route would mess up his career track.

That’s not a bad way to go. Divorce while your poor, drinking less, getting skinner and have your hair grow back.
