I need some advice in regards to which path to take next. I have the 135mins and am looking to move on from flight instruction. Should I consider a position with an operator such as Airnet and the like, knowing that a SUBSTANTIAL portion of their business will cease to exist in the near future? Or...I could try to land a job with one of the caravan operators---they don't seem to be tied so much to the financial/check business.

Just curious if anyone else thinks about these things....

checks are not gonna disappear overnight. if you can get on at Airnet, go for it. they are trying to diversify anyways with their vans now securely in the system ;)

1,500 hours total and no previous 135 time, won't be enough to get on with the FedEx feeders, but I'm sure there are some other Caravan operators that will hire you with that time.

Try Ram Air freight or Freight Runners.

my company is hiring....package express

i think they're hiring into columbia, sc.

pm me if you want the information. make sure you have 135 mins (all of them) otherwise your resume will be tossed in the round file cabinet.
