need a hotel at or near LAX?

Hey west coast folks.

I'm connecting through LAX this weekend on the way to New Zealand and am looking for a hotel nearby that offers an airline crew discount.

We are travelling with our 2 yr old boy so thought a nice place to go rest up after flying transcon, and before flying transpacific, would be in order.

Appreciate any suggestions.

There are several hotels on century blvd. right near the airport entrance that offer crew discounts.....I can't think of all the names right now, but there's a raddisson, a crowne plaza and a few others.. .

Embassy Suites right across the street from Garrett Aviation or whatever it is called now. Just show them your ID.

I know crews stay at the LAX sheraton. You can try giving them a call.

Check out Expedia.com and Hotwire.com. I have procurred some killer rates at the 3 and 4 star hotels right by the airport.

Use Expedia.com first to get rates and descriptions. Go to Hotwire for the best rates but you will have to guess which hotel it is. They don't tell you until you book but you can figure it out most of the time. Make sure you find out if they provide airport shuttle service.

Stay at the four point sheraton at LAX. Shuttle will pick you up. Rooms are $59 or 62 crew rate very nice hotel. Stayed there with my family before going on a cruise. Southwest, NWA, AA I know stayed there when we were there. Very nice abd clean for young children too.

Crowne Plaza...closest Hotel To The Airport. Stayed There Last Feb And Got A Crew Rate Of $45. You Can't Make A Reservation, Just Have To Call When You Get There And Ask If Crew Rooms Are Availible. Great Deal! Starbucks In Lobby!
