I need two contract pilots yesterday! One for short term (could turn permanant for right person) typed and current in DA20. Also need short term person typed and current in 1121 Jet Commander. Need both right away. Email [email protected]. Unfortunately I do not have a need for any SIC folks right now, but need a PIC typed and current in each. Spread the word and good luck.

What is the pay for the Falcon position?

Thiese slots will last at least a month and could become permanant for the right folks. The Jet Commander gig could last all year. I'll negotiate a fair rate with each individual. I can't turn somebody into an instant millionaire, but I'm willing to pay reasonably for the right person. This is not a deal where my guys slave away for nothing, pay for training, stay in Motel 6, etc... I own and fly a Falcon 10 that I lease to a Nascar driver, and have another one coming soon. I've just picked up a Falcon 20 which has different commitments right now, but I'm not typed yet and don't have the time or inclination to fly 400 hours a year. I've been where a lot of guys (and gals) are now....furloughed from Allegheny, cra**y 135 gigs, etc., and I try to make sure the folks flying with me are a.) good, safe pilots who aren't afraid to say "no", b.) fun to be around, and c.) interested in having a good time doing something they really enjoy. Hope that helps.

Sounds like a pretty decent outfit you have there...

How far are you from CLT? I wish I was qualified, but I knew a guy in CLT not too long ago who might fit the bill.

I keep the Falcon 10 just North of CLT, and the 20 will be based near RDU which would be a doable commute. An ex-Indigo PIC would be perfect for what I need.

How are you going to fly the 1121 once RVSM becomes a requirement?

From my 1121 days, I don't think we could get to 430 initially, and the fuel burns in the 20s are going to be horrendous! Is there an RVSM package for the 1121?

I really enjoyed the old Jet Commander (it was my first jet), but it's hard to see how it makes sense these days.

The Jet Commander is doing some fill-in work until I get my second Falcon 10 on line in a couple of months. Most trips are going to be between 350-500 miles, and it isn't going to make any difference to the guy in the back if he's at 280 or 350. And pulling the power back to get 12-1400 pph per side isn't gonna make a noticeable difference in a trip that short. But RVSM isn't here today and I need somebody for two trips on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Keep you eyes open for a team who needs a Lear pilot--25/31/35. Current 8410 in Lear 25/35. I have a few hours SIC in Falcon 10 part 91.

Thanks!

Have you found anyone yet? Is the 20 a retrofit or a straight 20? RVSM or not? And what model 20? Don't live close, but could possible help out...
