Tomorrow I'm headed to Omaha & Lincoln to knock on a few doors. Does anybody have any suggestions on who to apply to? Freight, 135, corp? Any suggestions that would be full time and a livable wage would be appreciated.
I'm planning on all three. Unfortunately where I normally fly I never see anyone. Then to get cheap fuel I have to stop at “Podunk International,” so no chance to network. Thanks for your help!
I've been instructing at millard airport (mle) for just over a year and half. One instructor at work is just starting to training for charter at millard. Another one of our instructors is flying part time at Elliot in a Baron and sic in a kingair 90,200. I'm currently training to fly the caravan at suburban air freight, it's only a six month job. Try Jet Lynx. a small fractional based at omaha, they fly diamond jets ( I think they have 4 or 5), their on someones certificate so they do some work for one of the larger fractionals (can't remember which one). Corporate row at OMA, its on the north east side of eppley. The tennants include Union Pacific, Mutual of Omaha, Conagra, Peter Kiewit construction, there might be one more but can't remember. I've dropped resumes at silverhawk and duncan a while age but didn't hear anything back. I know silverhawk has about 14 airplanes on charter. Good luck, by the way where are you from?
Thanks for all the info. I'm from Kansas & have been going to KC, Wichita, Tulsa ect. I'll go ahead and stop by the OMA places and see what I can find. So far I feel like I'm setting a record for "Bite Me" responses! Eventually I'll find something, but in the meantime it is frustraiting.
