There is an NDB by my house, freshly painted and fenced in, although there is a huge birds nest in the antenna. My question is why it is not depicted on the sectional chart?

How do you know it's an NDB?

It's depicted on my GPS. Plus, the signs on the fence say FAA.

Most NDB's aren't shown on sectionals anymore. You will only find them in approach charts or the AFD.

Makes sense, because it still looks active. How many of these are shutting down each year?
