The two biggest and best departments at CLT are either fully stocked or overstocked - Wachovia and Bank of America. B of A has the slightly better compensation package, but they currently have extra pilots due to recent company acquisitions.

It is a tough market to say the least. I live in the Winston-Salem area and pickings have always been kind of slim. Best bet may be to try the various race teams out of JQF (Concord), about 20 min up the road from CLT. Hendricks and Roush racing are the biggest dogs in that area however, there are a few other gigs there as well. A lot will depend on your qualifications (ie, existing type ratings) it is even better to know some folks. Good Luck!

Outside the "established" public corporations that utilize professional flight departments here in the CLT area, are those private companies who have a lot to be desired.......beware.
