Just signed up for the "freebee" day. I know, cheap b.....d! I've never been to one of these conventions. Do they have employers there? Should I bring resumes? Thanks.

Man, I want to go soo bad. Is there any sort of non-member or student rate for attendance. I know it is probably pointless for a low time guy like me to go, but it would still be pretty badass to go and check out some of the planes and products that will be on display. Plus, ORL is only 15 minutes away.

What is it? It's basically a big party for 3-days where you get free stuff. I am taking an extra rollerbag just for my free stuff...unless I win that Hummer H3..then of course I'll need a bigger rollerbag.

You do not need to be a member of NBAA to attend, however the registration fee is higher for nonmembers.

I wouldn't plan on landing a job there. It is a convention for everyting related to business aviation. It's more like "let's go to NBAA to check out new products, services, and airplanes." It's unbelievable how big this thing is. You can plan to spend an entire day walking around the convention center, another whole day checking out all the biz aircraft on display at the Showalter airport, and a third day attending the information seminars.

...and all the free stuff is cool too!
