Can you experienced Corp guys help me with some info?

I need to know if the salary studies that NBAA has posted is total compensation or are the just salary? Are bonueses and insruance counted as part of the study? We are counting total salary and comparig to NBAA data now... Is that correct? I know that we gone over the study, but I need some help on a project that we are working on here.

What are the numbers for:

1. Capt DA50EX (TX area)
2. FO DA50EX (TX area)
3. Capt GIVSP (TX area)
4. FO GIVSP (TX area)
5. Capt G550 (TX area)
6. Fo G550 (TX area)

Do you switch seats or are you designated FO and Capt?

All the info that you guys and gals can provide will be greatlt appreciated...

I don't have the 2005 NBAA #'s. My 2003 copy shows both total compensation and base salary. Does your copy have only one type of salary?

Mine doesn't break down the data for the individual A/C you listed. I'm not sure why as it gives info on every other conceivable variable. Falcon Capt. seems to have a better method for displaying the individual salaries. Maybe he'll jump in to help. If not, I'm sure you could find the info for each A/C if you run a search on this board.

As for captain/FO, in our dept. everyone is able to act as PIC. We designate a "trip captain" for each day's flying. The trip captain handles all flight planning, hotels, reservations, catering, preflighting, etc. Most of the other operators I know around here designate a captain for an entire trip. We do it day to day and it works great. The captain flies every leg during his "day".

Everyone is a PIC (technically) - typed and competent.

PIC/SIC designated for each trip (1 day or ten day - whatever)

All flying from the Left seat - switch each leg.

I don't have the '05 numbers handy right now either...but NBAA doesn't breakdown individual a/c types. Just small, medium and large, based on gross wt. I believe all the the aircraft you list fall into the latter category.

And there are individual sections for CA/FO and base salary and total compensation, the latter of which would include the other variables you mention.

Did you not have any of the surveys, and actually need those salary figures? If so, I'll see if I can pull them up later.
