Just remember you will have to have all that fun on Paris Island BEFORE starting flight training if you are going to fly for the USMC.
 
is it possible to get a navy pilot slot, if you have a couple of skeletons in your closet, or is it not worth it? or even a commission for that matter?
 
Naw, the Navy doesn't care! That's why they put you on that floating penitentiary.

I imagine slots with the USMC are harder to get, and yes, you are an infantry officer first. I've seen more than one pilot I know hit the sand with his M-16.
As tempted as I am to dis the Navy, I must admit I'd fly for them....but only after I declined the non-flying job the AF offered me.
