I hear the Air Force course is much less painful and gets you the same credit.

I've heard that too, but apparently the AF updated from ACSC 4.0 to ACSC 4.1 and all of the old gouge is out the window. :( Then, the Navy comes out with this CD-based correspondence course. Just wondering if anyone's done it...

I haven't done it, but what I've gathered from the guys who have is that the Navy CD-ROM course is much like drinking from the firehose. I too have heard that the AF course is much friendlier, however, the current rumor mill has things changing a bit in the JPME world and in the near future, the AF course may not be considered as JPME 1 equivalent, at least as far as the Navy is concerned.

I currently work at NWC, so if you would like some POC's for our Distance Ed folks, PM me.

Air Force course does satisfy jpme. Yes its easier. DO NOT TAKE THE NAVY COURSE. Yes, I am a Navy reservist, but the af course is designed for well, af bubbas. Nuff said.
