Just wondering if anyone may have some info...

I understand the 7 on 7 off 12 hour shift schedule, how do the decide who works the night shift? Do they alternate? One week days, week off, week nights, week off, and then over again?

How much flying do they do? Are the generally short legs?

How much does the pay increase year over year?

Good people to work for (with)?

Thanks

I worked their some time back about 7-8 years ago, people to work with were good people. They told me that schedule and I did not see my family for about 45-60 days if memory serves right. Also the owners and aircraft MX were to be desired, unless they have changed you are better off working at Home Depot , the store not flying. If they have changed then great.

Native

By all accounts, it is a good place to work. I have tried to get in but I think I pissed somebody off in their HR and flight ops office. Won't even give me the time of day....literally. Called last week and heard that the CP had specifically said no to my resume....I guess I tried too hard. Talk to Nicole in HR. Anyway, most say it is a good work environment, good equipment and schedule is trully a 7 on 7 off deal. Good luck.

I know they are hiring right now because a friend of my just interviewed with them.

I have talked to Pat in Phoenix. They fly out of IWA there. I know they were hiring for Phoenix and Kalispell, MT. They also have an approved SIC program. Just depends on how valuable you think SIC single-engine turbine time is. Good thing about working for them in PHX is that they have a CL-601 at Scottsdale that you can move up in to I think.

Pay for PC-12 at Native?

Does anyone know what they are paying SICs for the PC-12? I'm in the running for the slot, and curious to know what they are starting out. Feel free to email me. Thanks in advance for the help.

I want to say maybe $32,000. But I can't remember exactly what it was. I once knew, but it is kinda cloudy now.

Some info on Native Air.....

FO pay in the PC12 is 25k per year plus overtime.

Captain starting pay in the PC12 is 36k per year plus overtime.

Overtime is based upon a 15 workday month. Meaning any day you work over 15 shifts for the month, is overtime.

Pay starts when you show up for ground school.

PC12 bases are Phoenix, Show Low AZ, Kalispell MT, Dallas TX

There is a Citation V in Rochester, MN.

There is also a Challenger in Scottsdale, AZ but don't hold your breath on going to it, you have to either have been an old America West buddy with the owner of the company, or get some comfortable knee pads.

Maintenance and training are both good, and you won't get in trouble for following the rules or writing up problems.

Its a good place to work all in all, but kinda volatile, as they are having some internal problems right now.

if ya got more q's i can prolly answer em.......

waste of time...cp's a d*ck...

Thanks for the info, but it really seems like a waste of time. I live near a duty station, and can't get my foot in the door. I think the CP must be a homo or something, or at the very least a coward, doesn't know how to tell a guy not to bother. I caught him flatfooted the other day, as this was the second time I knew firsthand of an opening, and he tapdanced around till he thought he told me what a wanted to hear. Finally told him to stick it, and next time tell a lie that's believable. Why do these guys all act like we're stupid? I mean, I'm a real person, and would have more respect for someone that said, "Sorry, but we're looking for more qualifications, or more flight time, or you're simply not what we're looking for in a pilot." No need to jerk me around, and the weird part is, why be such a coward when you're over the phone, two states away?

We're not all whores, or creatons, and I know we've all said it before, but I'm gonna say it again, "It won't be like this forever. The old guys are gonna retire, and it will upswing again, just like prior 9/11."
