Have a friend with a Hawker Type (no kids & single) that likes to be gone looking for a job and we got to talking about Nascar. He's an F/O. Figured they fly a great deal. Anyone know anything about them? I know they have a big diversity push going on right now, so are they just looking at those canidates, or are they looking at everyone? Thanks in advance.

check out www.rtaa.org "race team aviation association??" Anyway good luck. There is a whole lot of turnover in the racing industry, and alot of cowboy pilots, but there are some good teams to fly for.

If anyone at NASCAR knows Sean Wroble, PM me. Trying to find out where he went, and I heard he's flying for NASCAR.

I have a friend with lots of connections there. He has been trying to get on there for over a year now, and sounded happy when he found out that his resume did not get thrown away when it got walked in by two Captains. All I know is that it is a good company to work for, impossible to get into, and that they have not hired anybody very recently.
This is only true if things have not changed within the last couple of weeks, but give it a try....and good luck!

A little over a year ago I was offered the PIC slot in a Citation for one of the teams. If I remember right, I was going to be on the road 4 days/week, 40+ weeks/year. Pay was good, plane was brand new and at the time I didn't mind the schedule (I was single). I turned down the offer when I found out my "co-captain" was going to be a <500hr. private pilot. Apparently he worked in the team's office and had convinced the owner to send him to FSI since he "was already a pilot".;)

Just got out of 800XP school with a couple of there pilots and sounded like there pretty busy. A little understaffed for the amount of equipment. Think they said they had 11 airplanes and 28 pilots.
