According to the MOL-07-0018:Gulfstream IV Landing Incident On November 11, 2007,a Gulfstream IV flight crew experienced a vibration from the nose gear as it touched down, followed by a collapse of the nose gear. No injuries to the crew or passengers were reported. The event is being investigated and any required fleet action will be communicated.

The GIV is owned and operated by The Shaw Group out of BTR. Pretty bad luck, it has only been in service with them a little over a month.

The nose gear was completely ripped off the plane, picked up off the runway and shipped to Gulfstream.

The airplane was just out of SAV getting an inspection or maintenance. There was nothing that the pilots could do about it. So I imagine, they'll "still be there."

Any idea who they purchased that G from?
