We're heading down to the Bahama's next month for 5 days and wanted to know if anybody has been in and out of MYCI. Clearing through MYEG and I'm sure we'll use handling, but I thought I would get any input before I got dispatch on it. Anybody have any hotel info, things to do, etc...thanks, much appreciated

Bahamas & Caribbean Pilot's Guide is the best source of info. On Crooked Island you are very limited if I remember. I'll look in my guide tomorrow. But I believe one of the few places is Pittstown Landing - should be right at that airport. My info had runway length at 3500'. Fltplan.com says 4000"???? MYEG is not an AOE. It is a gov't restricted airport used mostly by US DEA. You want MYEF - Great Exuma - a few miles north of Georgetown, AOE and fuel (at least JET A). Easy in and out customs. I have never seen the need for a handler in the Bahamas.

Thanks for the info. You are right, I can't find georgetown as an AOE, Great Exuma looks to be the closest option. Fuel is not a problem as we are going to carry enough to go to and from. Have you stayed at the Pittstown Point? What should we expect? Looks like a bonefishing village?
